Tanzania University students said the coming general election scheduled on October 25 will not be free and fair for a number of reasons pointing on the failure to get new people's constitution and ineffective voters registration through Bio-metric Voters Registration.

According to constitution National electoral commission must be free and the government should not intervene with its responsibility and decision but all this is impossible due to the fact that  members of the commission are appointed by the president whose side (political party ) is among the player of the game (election).

Also ineffective voters registration will prompt to unfair election to all citizens with every qualifications to participate on voting for different leadership positions.

Many people have already registered ,that was good , but they have registered to inappropriate constituency  where they will not be able to vote for their Diwani and Member of parliament.

University students have registered to their colleges but by the moment voting event is on universities will be yet to open, this is another failure which NEC needs to rethink before general election.

It will be the second times NEC is playing this dirty game which violated students right to vote  for their leaders 2010 . In 2010 the situation was as we are expecting to be this election. This is shame to entertain people who don't care for their youth.

Also coercive forces should stay a distance from election as academician said that there is tendency for police to stand for ruling party in making sure they win election.
