Limited number of Biometric voters registration machine, incompetence of registration clerks, poor organization, technical problem and overcrowd have been said to be the serious problem during registration process in Dar es Salaam started in July 22, 2015.

Since the process kicked off in February, Biometric voter machine has been faced the similar problem encountered in the other regions but the government did not use them to prepare for the ongoing process.

Our report visited school of journalism and mass communication one of the registration Centre in the region where same problem observed, limited number of machine, poor organization technical problem and the alike.

One of the registration centre at School of Journalism and Mass communication in Dar es salaam where Tanzanian experienced slow pace and jam with just a small number of people.

Many people criticize the system due to the time consuming that may lead to the few voters’ registration   as time running fast as well.
For a good will the government has decided to change the voters’ registration system Tanzanian to the improved one that was before said to speed up and make possible for any qualified citizen to register anywhere but why unprepared?

Registration process in Dar es salaam is expected to end on July 30 according to the National Electoral committee regardless of the slow pace and voters frustration and disappointment in the region.

Ahead October General election there is a worry and sign for unpreparedness for NEC to make sure election is successful conducted at a right time compared to the last general elections.
Civic education is very low compared to the presidential candidate nomination and promotion while there are few days remain ahead general election campaign to start.
Hope Tanzanian political awareness has increased to the high extent, that they will change the government if this is a technique to reduce the number of voters.
